The General Store, housed within the Meadow Run Grist Mill, offers shopping opportunities in a charming old mercantile atmosphere and offers a wide variety of quality gifts for all ages and occasions. The Mill Room located on the first floor, features a variety of gifts including an array of Virginia-made products such as wines, jams/jellies, candies and stone ground flours, meals and mixes. An educational section is specifically set-aside for our young patrons and contains entertaining games and toys pertaining to the past. Our second floor features jewelry, pottery, tin-ware, pewter-ware, glassware, apparel, collectibles, framed prints, a year-round Christmas section and a reading room where period newspapers, history-related books, artwork and chess sets are displayed.
