Engage the senses through a hands-on tour of the oldest section of Michie Tavern. Dance a colonial reel and play 18th-century tavern games while learning about the role of taverns and travelers centuries ago in this family-friendly experience. Our living history tours take place March through October.

- Self guided tours are offered November through February. Each room of the oldest section of Michie Tavern has informative recordings as part of the tour.
- A discount is offered to an adult tour if the individual has lunch; this discount is available March through October.

- The Presidents’ Pass is a combination tour ticket to Monticello, Michie Tavern and Ash Lawn-Highland. It may be purchased at each attraction or online.
